Okay, so this would've been a better shot if that leaf hadn't been there.

But no way was I putting my hand that close to a dead bird.

And it only JUST NOW occurred to me that I was fully wearing my ass-kicking boots at the time, and could've easily nudged it out of the way with my foot.

Sigh.
